I removed the exhaust pipes from the Corvair and flipped the exhaust manifolds so they point directly out the back of the car. Everything matched pretty well, but I did have to grind down the passenger side manifold in order to get the clamps back on. I think it sounds pretty good. It sounds even better inside car. Also, note how small the Corvair looks next to the Abarth on the left.

sounds great.
idle revs can always sound a bit clunky... but with a little throttle... like that other air cooled flat 6 we all know. :)

Reminds me a lot of a Cessna 182, I like it. Also the Corvair marks its spot.

Yeah, one of the carbs is giving me idling issues. I'm going to rebuild it and synch them which should help.

Yeah one of the carbs needs a rebuild which is where that clunky idle is coming from.

It picked up the scen of brats and beer from the E30 that used to reside there so it had to mark its own. Most of that stain came from a blown oil cooler seal which pissed oil everywhere.
